Miro Popkhadze is a Senior Fellow at the Delphi Global Research Center and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Eurasia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. He served as the Georgian Ministry of Defense Representative to the UN (2015-2019) and was Assistant Defense Attaché at the Georgian Embassy in the U.S. Previously, he was a Non-Resident Fellow at the Atlantic Council of Georgia. His research focuses on Russian foreign policy, Eurasian security, and Black Sea/Caucasus geopolitics. He's currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Virginia Tech, holding degrees from George Washington University (MIPP), Suffolk University (MSc), and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (BA).
